Bullpadel's 2024 Vertex 04 has minimal changes to the 2023 version.
It is still a moderately aggressive diamond with roughness and a Hesacore silicone undergrip.
The weight of the Hesacore - roughly 15g - "artificially" brings the racket's balance down nearly a half centimeter.
It is less aggressive - with a wider neck - than the Hack, which, by the way, has not been changed this year.
What Bullpadel has changed in this year's model is the indented frame, which is designed to provide additional rigidity.
Additionally, several reviewers pointed out that the surface has been softened compared to last year's model.
We recommend this racket for intermediate players looking for some help with power on the court.
It is not the most challenging diamond to play with - the balance is only moderately high and the sweet spot is relatively large for a diamond.
Very similar to the Vertex 03 but the 04 is more maneuverable, has more spin, and less power than the 03. Good for attackers seeking a diamond with a medium touch and spin.
A versatile racket for intermediate or advanced players. Compared to the Vertex 03, it has more roughness and has a more elasticity. Why does Bullpadel put, Hesacore, a product for those with tennis elbow, on a racket designed for advanced power players?
Medium-hard touch, medium-low balance, good ball output, balls run easily without much force. Versatile racket that has good power and is easy in the back of the court.
Note: the Padel School is sponsored by Bullpadel. Quite a hard racket with a gritty 12K carbon fiber and the balance towards the head. I would choose this racket - it suits me as an aggressive, tournament-level, right-side player.
