Expert Reviews of the Oxdog Ultimate Tour
One of the rackets I like the most from Oxdog. It's a versatile, very useful both in both defense and the attack for intermediate and advanced players.
Smashes surprised me. Very noticeable positive sensations when you hit the ball. It gives me a little bit more power than expected - the power is "something more than decent".
Around the court, I felt this racket is very agile and maneuverable. At the net, it moves very well. It feels light and we can notice the air channels since the racket feels lighter than other rackets that don't have them.
At both high and low speeds, you get good control with good ball output at the back of the court. The racket doesn't absorb the ball too much.
In the aerial game, its behavior is similar to a Babolat Technical Veron but with a bit larger sweet spot.
Smashes are really good, you can make pressure and power. The foam doesn’t absorb the ball that much.
The racket is super light, which gives you an advantage when moving fast and changing the kind of shot you would like to hit.
In the front of the court, it feels very good because you can volley super easily and change quickly from forehand to backhand volleys. It is easy to add power or place controlled drop shots. In the back of the court, I didn’t feel like I had much control on the ball. I didn’t feel where the ball is touching the racket - particularly when I was playing without the wall. When I used the wall, I felt more in control.
The sweet spot is in the middle and it is not that big. When you try to lift the ball, it makes a strange noise and you can loose control while playing in the back of the court. But when playing at the net, it gives you the security to impact the ball correctly and in the direction you want.
Smashes are really good, you can make pressure and power. The foam doesn’t absorb the ball that much.
The racket it’s good but It needs more weight to make better smashes
Easy - I feel that it’s one of the best point after volleys and bandejas
In volleys and net it’s maneuverable and fast. For the back of the court it’s nice for lobs but bajadas I need more weight
A bit on the smaller side
