Expert Reviews of the Alkemia Ignis 3.0
Alkemia's best-selling racket is powerful and yet versatile. Alkemia incorporated Kevlar in the frame this year and roughness for spin generation.
Best for intermediate, advanced players looking for medium to medium-hard touch racket with versatility
In smashes, it surprises you with its power
Medium balance. Very maneuverable racket, 360 grams without protector or overgrip, not head heavy. In the back of the court, it is maneuverable, it’s easy to locate bajadas.
A lot of control and doesn’t lack power
Large sweet spot
Excellent volleys, great maneuverability around the court, great in the aerial game - one of the most comfortable I’ve ever felt with a racket.
In smashes: It has a lot of power, I found it a little hard to control the ball - easy to get the ball back to your side of the court. Tested with 25 degrees.
In the aerial game, I felt very comfortable with viboras and bandejas. It has a medium balance, which helps its maneuverability.
In the front of the court, it has a pretty hard touch. I was able to control volleys very well. I didn’t notice the impact of the roughness very much.
If you miss the sweet spot, the ball doesn’t shoot much.
