Expert Reviews of the Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0
This is a versatile, playable teardrop for intermediate players with a weight and balance system. It has a good mix of conrol, power, and ball output. It gives me a lot of peace on the court. Oxdog's HES carbon is rigid, but the core is a medium. We have a weight of 365g and balance of 26cm.
If you start to give your arm, it activates. It has less power than the diamond-shaped Ultimate Pro, but it has a more generous spin. I like bajadas due to the strong spin. At the net, I especially enjoy the combination of its speed in the air, the wide sweet spot, and the ease of generating spin.
It moves very well in the air - it's very well-balanced.
It gives me great control. The sandblasted finish is like a cat's tongue, not too strong, but it does a great job.
Average sweet spot, which gives a sense of security.
This is a versatile teardrop on the soft side of medium-hard. Test model weighs 363g and balances at 25.5cm.
While it feels dry, at the net, with Oxdog's carbon it gives the ball a lot from medium speed and accelerates rapidly from there. Chancletazos are ok, but you feel the lack of balance here. In the bandeja, you notice the low balance, which I feel like leaves me lacking something - I need to exaggerate my swing in order to send the ball deeply enough.
It moves very well with its medium-low balance.
It performs better at higher speeds than at lower speeds. Very easy to control. The carbon works slightly better at higher speeds.
Slightly larger than average sweet spot. It is hard to contact the ball outside of the sweet spot. When you contact the ball in the top of the racket face, the performance is much better.
Recommended for an intermediate and up player seeking maneuverability and maintaining control at a medium-high speed for heavy viboras and bandejas. I switched from playing with the Hack 04 to this racket due to its combination of power, control, and maneuverability. Medium-hard, harder than the 2024 AT10 12K. Long, 13.5cm, handle. A versatile option for players who aren't bothered by its low ball output.
Offensive while maintaining good maneuverability. Fast volleys. One of the most powerful rackets with this high level of maneuverability. The power is better than expected.
This racket moves very well. Its agility allows me to easily accelerate my swings in bandejas and viboras. Note that you can adjust the balance and weight with the 8g weight in the handle and the 7.5g weight in the head.
Low ball output, I needed to make sure to accompany the ball well in order to pass slow balls over the net - on the other hand, it has great control at both high and low speeds.
Good sweet spot for a hard tear drop and doesn't hurt you too much when you slightly miss the sweet spot. Great in the aerial game with it's wide sweet spot.
