Expert Reviews of the Siux Fenix Pro 4
This is one of my favorite rackets on the market, and this year they've made the mold a lot more aggressive. Amazing racket, I really enjoyed it in the aerial game, but it is very physically demanding. I will need to get used to it. Test model balances at 27.6cm.
I love what it delivers, but this racket is quite demanding on my arm.
My favorite Siux in the 2024 line up - this year's version has taken on a more aggressive character than previous ones. The X3 champion of 2024. Great spin management. I don't like this ShockOut grip for a racket like this, not to mention the fact that it falls apart after a few uses. Test model weighs 360g and balances at 28cm.
Very powerful. It pulls really hard without asking much of you. One of the best flat smashes in the game, and it's the 2024 X3 champion as well as far as I'm concerned.
Heavy, but not a granite tool in terms of its feeling in the hand - in fact it moves quite well. It feels like it has a 27cm balance instead of the 28cm that it is - easier than the Triton Pro. However, it did tire me out in the long run.
Rigid, but not overly so, you have to use a bit of arm in the back of the court, but I didn't find it difficult to operate. More for power than control, it shoots energetically, and sometimes it can result in your shooting balls into the wall.
The sweet spot isn't too bad - not so high and not as small as I expected.
Great for aggressive intermediate or advanced players who likes the sensation of a hard racket with strong 3D roughness. Probably the most powerful Siux. I like the handle with the ShokOut grip - it makes it easy for me to change my grip between shots. Test model is 360g and 27cm.
In the aerial game, you get a great leverage effect - I really liked viboras and bandejas with it at high speeds with heavy spin.
I didn't find the maneuverability as bad as I expected, but my test model is on the lower end of the weight range. That being said over time, I grew tired from playing with it. In volley duels, it slowed me down.
Low ball output: I need to exaggerate my swing at low speeds. In the volley, its hardness allows me to deliver a lot of weight to the ball while maintaining control.
Not a very small sweet spot, but I notice it when I miss the sweet spot
