Expert Reviews of the Adidas Cross IT CTRL
Versatile offering with great maneuverability and a long grip. The balance is high for a round racket.
It is easy to accelerate this racket in bajadas and aggressive overheads.
Great maneuverability, the aerodynamic bridge is designed to help its round shape, and I think it works.
It gives me great control from the back of the court to play aggressive or defensive lobs ho precision chiquitas.
It has a wide sweet spot.
This is the round shaped racket of the Cross IT line, which has a longer handle and more aggressive roughness than other Adidas rackets. This racket suits upper level players seeking precision and spin.
The hard EVA gave me a lot of feedback and I get a lot of leverage from the long handle.
The roughness creates a lot more spin in the ball than the other Adidas (non-Cross line) rackets.
The sweet spot is quite small, but you get such precision when you hit it.
A great expression of power in my smashes. Test models weighs 369g and balances at 26.8cm.
It gives me a lot of power in the overhead game and my groundstrokes in the back of the court.
Low ball output means I feel a lot of control and power, but in my lobs, it doesn't help me much, and I have to make sure to use my legs and follow the stroke with my arm.
Medium high sweet spot.
