Expert Reviews of the Adidas Cross IT
One of best power rackets of the year. Oriented towards attacking, but I found it better than expected in the back of the court. Amazing bandejas, Adidas's best spin. Medium-hard touch, but brings a surprisingly strong ball output, slightly harder than last year's Adipower. 13cm handle. Test model is 375g and 26.9cm.
At the net, when I increase my swing speed slightly, it transmits a lot more power to the ball. Amazing kick smashes.
For the weight and balance, I expected it to be harder to maneuver.
In the back of the court, it seems much easier to control than most medium-hard diamonds. The 3D roughness is really powerful and makes the ball feel slightly harder than it would otherwise feel. Great in blocks.
Standard-sized sweet spot. I notice missing the sweet spot in my viboras
This racket shines in overheads and volleys. It combines the leverage you get from the long handle with stability and an ease to generate swing speed. Best for advanced aggressive players who want power and spin to finish the point.
Easy to clear the fence without swinging too hard. More powerful spin generation than sandblasted finish.
The sweet spot is "interesting" to find.
Great medium-hard smasher! This is the most powerful Adidas - it is great for offensive volleys and the aerial game. I think the roughness increases the rigidity of the frame. This racket is harder then the 2023 and before Adipowers have been. Test model weighs 368g and balances at 27cm. Longer handle than most Adidas.
I think it's one of the best options for the aerial game due to its balance and roughness, which allows you to transmit a lot of weight on your viboras and bandejas.
This is a somewhat heavy racket, but it's not very difficult to maneuver - easier than I expected. As I played with it for a while, it began to tire me out.
It doesn't have as low of ball output as I expected given its rigidity, so it wasn't as difficult for me to use in the back of the court as I expected. In the aerial game, I lost control of some balls when I didn't send them down enough and they flew into the crystal. Its sensations reminded me of the Siux Fenix 4.
Central-high sweet spot, not terribly large. This racket vibrates when you miss the sweet spot. In bandejas, it transmits a lot less force when you miss the sweet spot.
