Ball Rescuer Ball Pressurizer

Updated

Oct 2023

We at Padel.fyi really don't like the wastefulness of playing with new balls all the time, but what can you do? Playing with balls that don't bounce is also not acceptable.

There are a few companies that have made ball pressurizers to extend the life of the balls for a few matches.

We like the Ball Rescuer because it is easy to use, durable, and inexpensive. While the fact that it comes without a tube at first seemed cheap to us, tubes can break (like we've seen with the Pascal Box), so we think this con actually turns into a pro with how it can fit into any tube. This future proofs the Ball Rescuer and gives you additional portability.

Please note that while pressurized balls will maintain their bounciness, they will continue to become "deformed" during additional matches. As a result, their play will become increasingly unpredictable. Though in our tests, they were still fine for a few friendly matches.

Please pay attention to whether the Ball Rescuer is being sold with or without the air pump.

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Small and easy to fit in padel bag
  • Indicator displays if the tube is pressurized enough

Cons

  • Comes without tube - use the one the balls came in
  • Simple pressure indication (Green and Red)
