What is fiberglass in padel?

Fiberglass is a material formed of fiber-reinforced plastic flattened onto a sheet or woven into a cloth.

It is used in the production of padel rackets, usually their surfaces, due to its low weight and flexibility.

Fiberglass results in a softer touch than carbon fiber, and thus is often used in less expensive, beginner rackets.
